What Is It?

How Do You Use It?
The PainShield consists of a disposable patch connected to a portable reusable driver, and generates ultrasound waves to the desired area of the body. This portable ultrasound device fits into most MP3 arm bands.
1. Charge the PainShield ultrasound device prior to each use.
2. Then simply place the ultrasound transducer patch directly
on healthy skin over the source of pain (or adjacent to the
wound), ensuring that the applicator, specifically the metal
element, is in full contact with the body to avoid any possible
overheating of the skin.
3. Attach the Pain Shield cable to the snaps of the reusable patch.
4. Turn on the hands-free ultrasonic device. The low frequency
ultrasound will automatically turn off after 6.5 hours of
treatment. (If you feel slight discomfort from the patch, turn off
the device & reposition)

When Does the Pain Relief Begin?

4 treatment patches. Each reusable pain patch is good for 50 hours of therapy or 10 treatment sessions, so your initial purchase of the PainShield unit will give you 200 hours of therapy. Treating at the maximum of 6.5 hours everyday, that equates to approximately 4 weeks of low frequency, continuous wave ultrasound treatments, at home while sleeping or during travel. If treating less frequently, your reusable treatment shields will last even longer!
Reusing Patches: The reusable patch may be used multiple times due to a hydro gel adhesive that may be refreshed. Gently moisten the hydro gel portions of the patch using water before storage. It should then be placed back on the transparent protective layer. Once this is done the patch can be stored in its original silver pouch.

Portable Ultrasound Machine Helps After Surgery

I had DaVinci (Robotic) surgery recently and since this procedure, I’ve experienced pretty intense pain throughout my sternum. After discussing this matter with my doctor, he was quick to advise that it’s possible the machine may have applied a bit much pressure over this area resulting in bruising. Honestly, this pain was excruciating so I found myself taking a complete schedule of pain medication which left me feeling drowsy and foggy.
I started looking for other, homemade remedies online and came across many articles describing the benefits ultrasound therapy. Recently I was diagnosed with chronic pain in my shoulder joint. The doctor said it was due to calcification and he put me to on a complete regiment of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs to combat my condition.
